Ukrainian parliament says it will adopt pro-EU laws swiftly

EurActiv reported that on the 9 September 2013 the Ukrainian parliament's speaker said that MPs would pass the laws required by the European Union as a pre-condition for concluding an EU pact in time for the Vilnius Summit in November 2013, paving the way for the signature of a landmark association agreement with the European Union.
