UN concerned over Turkey coup attempt impacting Cyprus talks

The UN Special Envoy to Cyprus said on the 21 July 2016 there was no evidence suggesting Turkey would change its position on talks regarding Cyprus. However, the intergovernmental organisation did express concern that the failed coup of the 15 July 2016 in Turkey could have a negative impact.
