Volkswagen books first quarterly loss in 15 years

Deutsche Welle reported that the emissions scandal of the autumn of 2015 had sent the German car company Volkswagen into the red. The carmaker released on the 28 October 2015 its first quarterly results since the cheating was revealed, but despite heavy losses, analysts remained confident.
