Euro|Topics relaunched their website during 2016. Features published before that date are still available via an archive website (see related url hyperlinks0Abdullah Öcalan, the imprisoned leader of the Kurdish PKK, called on the Turkish government and his supporters in September 2016 to resume peace talks. This was the first time he had been allowed to receive visitors since the Turkish peace process with the Kurds was broken off in 2015. Turkish commentators doubt that his call for peace would be heeded by the conflicting parties.
