Features published before that date are still available via an archive website (see related url hyperlinks0Europe's right-wing populists celebrated Donald Trump's election win in November 2016 in the United States and leading EU politicians pragmatically offered to cooperate with the new president. Commentators feared that politicians like Le Pen and Wilders would take inspiration from Trump's victory and called on the left to initiate a process of self-renewal.
