The European Commission presented its 2000 Annual Report on the Own Resources System on 25 September 2001. The data on EU expenditure used in the report reflects the actual payments made during the financial year 2000, excluding administrative expenditure and expenditure on external policy, to the four cohesion countries - Greece, Portugal, Ireland and Spain.
