The European Commission outlined on 23 January 2002 the way in which its Reform policies relating to appointments of senior staff will be implemented over the coming months. In particular, today's decisions will implement the Commission's 1999 commitment that, A1 and A2 officials will be subject to mobility after 5 years and not stay longer than 7 years in the same post. |
