The European Commission adopted a Regulation on 6 November 2002 on employment aid, destined to facilitate Member States' job creation initiatives. Under the new regulation Member States may grant aid for the creation of new jobs and for the recruitment of disadvantaged and disabled workers without having to seek the Commission's prior clearance. |
