Press Release: Increasing support for accession in candidate countries – Very large majority in favour of accession in Northern Cyprus

According to an opinion poll carried out on behalf of the European Commission in the northern part of Cyprus in September 2002, nearly 9 out of 10 Turkish Cypriots are convinced that accession to the European Union would be 'a good thing' and would vote 'yes' in a referendum.
