Multinationals more efficient

A report, 'Measuring globalisation: the role of multinationals in OECD economies', published by the OECD in March 2002, has found that foreign-owned manufacturing companies in the world's most highly developed countries are generally more productive and pay their workers more than comparable locally-owned businesses.
