Srutiny of EU proposals

The Committee discussed a proposal for a Council directive on mutual assistance in transit during expulsion by air transport.
This proposal, if adopted, adopted, will enable participating states to provide each other with a range of assisting measures in cases of transit for the purposes of expelling by air transport illegally resident third country nationals who are the subject of expulsion orders in member states.
