Campaign to ban Heathrow night flights suffers blow

The European Court of Human Rights overturned on appeal on 9 July 2003 an October 2001 ruling that night flights at Heathrow airport infringed local residents' human rights and their entitlement to the 'peaceful enjoyment' of their homes.
