No campaigners look to Sweden to scupper hopes of euro entry

British observers are closely watching Sweden in the run-up to the referendum on 14 September 2003. However, the death of Dr David Kelly, the UK weapons expert, and the subsequent Hutton Inquiry make it increasingly unlikely that there will be a UK referendum on entry into the single currency before the next UK General Election.
