Report reveals that ‘migrant flood’ is a trickle

The European Citizen Action Service (ECAS) published in 2004 a report arguing that 'the threat of a flood has turned out to be a trickle', following concerns that the enlargement of the European Union to ten new Member States would trigger a massive influx of citizens into the EU15 countries in search for jobs and opportunities. The report was presented to members of the European Parliament in September 2004.
