First Minister of Scotland, Jack McConnell, on 18 February 2004, launched VisitScotland's new European tourism campaign during a visit to Paris. VisitScotland is Scotland's national tourism board. The new pan-European campaign was born out of consumer research in key European markets ( France, Germany and Spain) which showed that tourists were looking for a taste of a 'different life' and were keen to get to know Scotland through its people. |
