An informal Presidency meeting of Ministers for Education and senior officials from 31 EU/EEA and EFTA countries, including accession and candidate countries, on the theme of 'Guidance and Lifelong Learning - Future Directions', which took place in Dublin on 28-29 April 2004, supported a broadly based strategy for the role of Guidance in promoting the achievement of the Lisbon Goal of making Europe the most advanced knowledge based, competitive and cohesive society by 2010. |
