In the context of the European Year of Education through Sport 2004 (EYES 2004), the European Commission and the organising committee for the Olympic Games in Athens (ATHOC) are launching a measure aimed at rewarding young sportsmen and women who have successfully reconciled high-level sport and academic study. 28 young people will thus be 'Olympic champions of education' from 11 August. |
