The European Commission has decided to appoint Mrs. Marie Bohata as the new Deputy Director General at the European Statistical Office in Luxembourg (Eurostat). Mrs. Bohata is 56 years old and of Czech nationality. She was until now Vice-Rector and professor at the University of International and Public Relations in Prague. From 1999-2003 she was President of the Czech Statistical Office. |
