Kosovo voting starts in key poll

The people of Kosovo have voted in the second elections for the Kosovo assembly, 23 October 2004, since the province came under United Nations control in 1999. The future status of the province and security for Kosovo's Albanian and Serb communities were among the key issues of the campaign.
