Medvedev tiptoes out of Putin’s shadow

A poll by a Moscow research group July 2008 found 36 per cent of Russians believed Vladimir Putin continued to be behind all big decisions, while only 9 per cent thought the new President, Dmitry Medvedev, was in charge.
