Ridge plans stronger security links with EU

The US Government is to post a senior official from its Department of Homeland Security in Brussels as a sign of its commitment to improving counter-terrorism co-ordination with the European Union. Separately, the US is also soon expected to reappoint a liaison officer at Europol, the European Union's police agency.
