EU body argues for financial ombudsman

According to the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), Europe's financial services industry needs its own ombudsman to deal with cross-border disputes between businesses and national regulators. A feasibility study commissioned by FESE proposes that the ombudsman should be set up in Brussels with a small secretariat.
