A presentation was made to the Committee on the current agricultural situation in Ireland by the Minister for Agriculture and Food, Mary Coughlan. As well as providing a general overview of Irish agriculture, the Minister also spoke about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), fees payable by potato growers, the nitrates directive and the sugar regime. |
