Human rights chief refused Russian visa

The head of Human Rights Watch, Kenneth Roth, the human rights monitoring group, accused Russia on 20 February 2008 of denying him a visa to visit Moscow to prevent him from presenting a highly critical report on the Kremlin’s treatment of civil society groups.
