The International Tax Dialogue - a joint initiative of the IMF, the OECD, the World Bank and with the UN as an observer - held its first global tax conference in Rome on 15-16 March 2005 on the topic of Value Added Taxes (VAT). The conference was hosted by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance with support from the European Commission. |
