EU payback plan for faulty goods

The UK Government has launched a consultation about a proposal to introduce a European Small Claims Procedure. This is intended to provide a simplified and speedy procedure for low value claims as an alternative to EU Member States' schemes and to abolish the special procedure needed to enable the recognition and enforcement of a judgment in another Member State.
