Press Release: REACH: High Level Group meets to assess new impact studies

Report of a meeting the High Level Group on further work on the impact assessment of REACH, the proposed EU Directive on Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals, 27 April 2005. The meeting was held under the joint chairmanship of European Commission Vice-President Günter Verheugen and European Commissioner for the Environment, Stavros Dimas, and discussed the results of impact studies which were commissioned by industry within the framework of arrangements agreed with the Commission.
