Following action by the European Commission's Competition Directorate-General, Deutsche Telekom (DT) changed an application to the German telecoms regulator Bundesnetzagentur (Federal Network Agency) for the approval of wholesale fees it charges its competitors for shared access to the local loop (line sharing). The action ensured that DT complies with commitments it had given the European Commission to terminate a presumed abuse of dominant position in form of a margin squeeze. The Federal Network Agency on 3 August 2005 took two decisions on the charges applicable. |
