ECB raises fresh fears on soaring oil prices

Report of a statement by European Central Bank President, Jean-Claude Trichet, made on 7 April 2005. Trichet was signalling the ECB's significantly heightened concerns about the impact of soaring oil prices and urged consumers to become 'good energy savers'.
