OECD boosts PM’s farm subsidy battle

An OECD report issued in June 2005, 'Agricultural Policies in OECD Countries: Monitoring and Evaluation 2005', has provided a boost for the United Kingdom's case for a reduction in the European Union's agricultural spending. According to the report, subsidies made up 30% of OECD farmers' incomes on average in 2004 - the same as in 1995.
