Concluding report on the Sector Inquiry into the provision of sports content over third generation mobile networks (Published in accordance with Article 17(1) of Regulation 1/2003), September 2005

The European Commission and the EFTA Surveillance Authority have now
concluded the Sector Inquiry into the provision of sports content over third
generation mobile networks (3G Sector Inquiry). The Sector Inquiry was initiated in the beginning of 2004. The aim of the Sector Inquiry was to allow the European Commission and the EFTA Surveillance Authority to develop a thorough sectoral knowledge, enabling them to identify problems and behaviours common to the various, largely national, retail markets of
mobile services in a systematic manner.
