Spanish Commissioner Marcelino Oreja will be taking even more interest than usual in cultural matters this week.

For the Culture Commissioner's own book The Treaty of Amsterdam, co-written with some top EU affairs academics, hits Spanish bookshops next week. Originally in Spanish, the work's translation into other languages has not been ruled out, if there is a rush of demand.
