Internet makes bad impression

All 626 members of the European Parliament were astounded last week to receive personalised e-mails advertising the services of a range of Internet sites offering 'adult' images.

For some unknown reason, one of Europe's thriving online porn providers appears to be under the impression that the Parliament represents an enormous untapped market.

In a bid to correct that impression, the institution's information technology department has circulated a memo condemning the porn company's electronic marketing campaign and urging MEPs to report any further approaches.
