EU legislation:
Community transit. The Commission has written to organisations representing customs transit users reporting on the moves under way to reform transit procedures in accordance with the Transit Action Plan. The Commission has also put forward a number of new suggestions designed to strike a more acceptable balance between the desire of business to keep red tape to a minimum and the need to protect public finances.
