The Consultative Committee of the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (ETS No. 108), a Council of Europe convention, unanimously adopted 21.6.00 an additional Protocol on Supervisory Authorities and Transborder Data Flows. The Committee of Ministers will be asked to examine the text in the months ahead with a view to its adoption and opening for signature. |
