CLRAE urges assistance to local authorities in Yugoslavia, acts on other Balkan countries

The Standing Committee of the Council of Europe's Congress of Local and Regional Authorities (CLRAE) held a discussion with the Mayor of Belgrade Milan Protic and Vice-President of the Voivoidna Assembly Gordnana Comic on the 10 November 2000 concerning local and regional democracy in Yugoslavia and future cooperation with the country's local and regional authorities. The Standing Committee also adopted reports on local elections in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and in Albania.
