EurActiv's partner in Bulgaria, Dnevnik, reported that Bulgaria's centre-right government reported on the 9 April 2010 that it had abandoned plans to join the EU's exchange-rate mechanism, ERM II, after the country recorded a larger-than-expected deficit in 2009 as a result of unaccounted procurement deals signed by the previous socialist-led cabinet. |
