EU’s growth strategy ‘heading for failure’

European Union Finance Ministers meeting at the Ecofin Council in Brussels on 14 March 2006 considered a paper published by Bruegel, a Brussels think-tank. 'Last Exit to Lisbon', written by André Sapir and Jean Pisani-Ferry, strongly criticises the revamped Lisbon Agenda for jobs and growth and says it is heading for failure.
