Brussels ‘will legislate’ on SEPA

According to a study commissioned by First Data, a transaction processing company, most banks believe the European Commission will introduce legislation to enforce the Single European Payments Area scheme which will allow consumers and businesses to make non-cash payments in euros as easily and cheaply as domestic transfers.
