This projection is based on a new forecast model for quarterly euro-area GDP growth introduced by the Commission in January 2006. The model replaces the former indicator-based model published from March 2002 to October 2005. It provides projections of GDP growth for three quarters beyond the quarter of the latest GDP estimate. |
