Innovation, research and development will be the themes for Regional policy Commissioner Danuta Hübner's visit to the Basque Country in Spain from 14 to 16 June 2007. She will meet Regional Government President (Lehendakari) Juan José Ibarretxe and Vice-president Idoia Zenarrutzabeitia. The Commissioner will visit the Technological Park of Zamudio, which has been co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. She will address the Annual Conference of the Innovative Actions Network for Information Society (IANIS). |
