Europe venture capital shows big rise

Feature on a report by the European Venture Capital Association, June 2007, which shows that Europe’s venture capital market recovered sharply in 2006, as the money raised by funds investing in start-ups and early-stage companies rose 60 per cent to the highest level since the peak of the internet bubble in 2000.
