On 16.3.01, in Brussels, Romano Prodi, President of the European Commission, met with the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mr Joseph Kabila. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the relations between the two parties, particularly the gradual resumption of development co-operation. The meeting was cordial and constructive. |
