On 24.1.01, Germany's Foreign Minister, Joschka Fischer, arrived in Britain to receive an award from the German-British Forum for his contribution to Anglo-German dialogue. The Forum, chaired by the former British Foreign Minister, Lord Hurd, is giving the award in honour of a speech in spring 2000 in which Mr Fischer presented his vision for the future of Europe. |
