On 28 March 2001 the Standing Veterinary Committee (SVC) met to discuss the situation regarding foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in Ireland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and France. It was decided to approve European Commission proposals to prolong protective measures for these four Member States. |
