Brown call for ECB to be reformed is rebuffed

Discussions about Europe and the single currency continue to dominate the UK national election campaign. A call by the British Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, to reform the European Central Bank were rebuffed by a member of the ECB's governing council, Ernst Welteke.
