Euro-group warns on economy

Finance ministers of the 12 nation euro-group signalled at their monthly meeting, 4 June 2001, their concern about the impact on Europe of both the slowdown in the US economy, and the threat of higher oil prices, saying they expected the euro-zone's short term economic prospects to be 'less robust' than previously expected.
