Fact sheet: Increased transparency in the EU to be implemented during the Danish EU Presidency

At the Seville European Council in June 2002 EU leaders made a number of decisions on increased transparency on the basis of a proposal put forward by Spain and Denmark. The decisions will be implemented by changing the Council rules of procedure. This factsheet explains the basic changes that will be made.
