Wales to invest 100m pounds in high-speed internet access / Wales to invest £100m in high-speed internet access

Following concerns that Wales has been the slowest UK region to take up broadband access to the internet, the Welsh Assembly announced on 11 July 2002 a £100m investment in high-speed internet access. The plan is to be known as Broadband Wales.
