Mandelson delays employment laws

Article reports that the United Kingdom is to delay the implementation of the EU Agency Workers Directive in a package aiming to relieve business of regulations costing £3.5bn a year as they recover from the recession. The Directive will only come into force in the UK in October 2011, the latest possible date.
